CS CoWind is a plug-and-play FBG-based co-winding assembly designed for seamless embedding of fiber optic strain sensors into filament-wound composites, ensuring accurate monitoring of their structural behavior.

  • Delivered on a compact spool
  • Directly mountable onto the head of your filament winding machine using the CS CoWind kit.
  • Enabling easy and accurate embedding of multiple FBG sensing points within any layer during filament winding.

This configuration is designed for strain measurement in the helical direction, suited for low and/or high angle windings.

Typical lead time: 5 to 10 days
